Controller – Finance Department

About the role

We are looking for a Controller to join the Finance Department of a successful and growing group of companies in Afula. You will be part of a professional team, handling a wide range of financial activities, from reporting and budgeting to liaising with banks and regulatory bodies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the financial activities of companies within the group.
• Work closely with banks and other financial institutions.
• Prepare reports and submissions to tax authorities, the Investment Authority, Israel Innovation Authority, and other regulators.
• Develop budgets and internal financial reports, including inventory, investments, and budget‑vs‑actual analysis.
• Monitor budget execution and implementation.
• Control and review payroll processes.
• Support audits and coordinate with external CPA firms and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in economics or accounting.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a corporate finance department.
• Familiarity with bookkeeping and accounting processes.
• Experience working with government authorities is a plus.
• Knowledge of Priority ERP is advantageous.
• Strong Excel skills are a plus.
• Experience with payroll controls is a plus.
