Construction Project Manager

About the role

Ben-Gurion University of the Negev is looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead complex new‑building and renovation projects within its New Construction Department. The role spans the full project lifecycle, from planning and budgeting to handover and warranty.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and supervise construction and renovation projects, ensuring compliance with approved programs.
• Develop and monitor project budgets, cost estimates, specifications and large‑scale financial frameworks.
• Maintain project schedules, control changes, and coordinate additions throughout execution.
• Oversee project completion, commissioning, handover and warranty periods.
• Coordinate architects, consultants, contractors, suppliers and internal/external stakeholders.
• Support departmental professional activities and undertake additional duties as required.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in construction and renovation project management.
• Proven ability to coordinate, supervise and manage large‑scale construction projects.
• Experience negotiating with contractors and suppliers.
