Buyer – Supply Chain

About the role

Jabil is seeking a Buyer to join its Supply Chain team in Israel. The role focuses on ensuring material availability and continuity for electronics manufacturing by managing the full purchase order lifecycle and collaborating across functions.

Key responsibilities

• Create, track, and close purchase orders from placement through delivery.
• Communicate with suppliers on pricing, lead times, order confirmations, and delivery commitments.
• Review Engineering Change Orders (ECO/ECR) and assess impacts on procurement, inventory, and material availability.
• Maintain and analyse supplier price lists and support commercial negotiations.
• Monitor supplier performance, addressing supply, quality, and delivery issues proactively.
• Collaborate with Planning, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Warehouse, and Program Management teams.
• Ensure accurate data entry and integrity within ERP systems.
• Drive on‑time material availability to meet production and customer commitments.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Buyer or Purchasing professional in the electronics manufacturing (EMS/OEM) industry.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes and purchase order management.
• Experience handling Engineering Change Orders and BOM updates.
• Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Analytical mindset with strong organisational abilities.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• SAP (experience with ERP systems is a plus).
