Board Design Engineer

About the role

KLA is seeking a Board Design Engineer to lead the development of mixed‑signal and analog PCBs for advanced signal and image‑processing systems. You will own the full product lifecycle, from concept and architecture through design, validation, and production support.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design of complex high‑speed and mixed‑signal boards for signal and image processing applications.
• Collaborate closely with FPGA, software, system and mechanical teams to define and drive design plans, schedules and priorities.
• Perform failure analysis and debugging using laboratory test equipment.
• Take ownership of development from concept through bring‑up, validation and production support.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in high‑speed and mixed‑signal board design.
• Strong expertise in analog design, LED driver circuits, power regulation and FPGA‑based systems.
• Experience with memory interfaces (DDR, SDRAM, Flash) and protocols such as PCIe, SerDes, GigE, Camera Link.
• Hands‑on experience with board bring‑up, testing and cross‑team debugging.
• Self‑motivated team player with excellent communication skills.
