Backend & Data Developer

About the role

COMBLACK is seeking a Backend & Data Developer to join its Data R&D team. The role blends advanced backend development with complex data systems, leveraging technologies such as .NET, Kafka, AWS, and ETL processes in an innovative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop backend services using C# and .NET Core/.NET 6+ Web APIs.
• Design and maintain data pipelines with Kafka producers and consumers.
• Write and optimise SQL queries for SQL Server or Teradata databases.
• Implement and support ETL processes.
• Collaborate on front‑end components using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in backend development with C#.
• Hands‑on experience with .NET Core / .NET 6+ and Web API development.
• Experience working with Kafka, including producers and consumers.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with SQL Server and/or Teradata.
• Experience with ETL processes.
• Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
