Assistant Controller (Temporary)

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Controller to support our Finance team for a nine‑month temporary assignment. Reporting to the Controller and Senior Director of Finance, you will help oversee subsidiary bookkeeping, month‑end close, tax filings and audit coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor subsidiaries bookkeeping and support day‑to‑day finance operations.
• Participate in all aspects of accounting and financial reporting, including global cash‑management.
• Ensure accurate month‑end close, prepare and review balance‑sheet reconciliations, key accruals and analytical review of P&L items.
• Prepare and file the Group’s tax returns for the parent company and all subsidiaries.
• Process payments to vendors, authorities and employee reimbursements.
• Work directly with external audit teams during quarterly and year‑end audits.

Required profile

• Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with internship experience at a Big 4 firm.
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
• Hard‑working, detail‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
