Assistant Controller

About the role

DRS RADA is seeking a highly motivated Assistant Controller to support its finance and accounting function. The role focuses on SOX compliance, internal controls, financial reporting, and U.S. GAAP accounting in a fast‑paced, global environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing financial statements and reporting packages.
• Lead and support SOX compliance activities, including documentation, testing and remediation.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits and SOX reviews.
• Maintain and improve internal controls, accounting policies and financial procedures.
• Perform intercompany reconciliations, journal entries and account analyses.
• Support reporting under U.S. GAAP.
• Identify process improvements and contribute to automation initiatives.
• Conduct ad‑hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.

Required profile

• CPA certification.
• 3+ years of experience in accounting, audit or financial reporting.
• Experience in a Big 4 accounting firm is a strong advantage.
• Background in multinational or global organizations is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Self‑starter, organized, proactive and quick learner.
