Assistant Controller

About the role

Sensi.AI is seeking an Assistant Controller to join its fast‑growing global finance team. The role works closely with the Director of Finance, Senior Controller and the FP&A team to ensure accurate monthly closes, payroll processing, vendor payments and compliance in a SaaS environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support monthly close activities, including reconciliations, accruals, supporting schedules and documentation.
• Validate financial data for payroll, accounts payable and Mesh/NetSuite workflows.
• Manage Israeli payroll preparation, review, documentation and related accounting entries.
• Assist with accounts payable recording, approvals and payments.
• Coordinate with external auditors and support the preparation of financial statements and tax audits.
• Provide due‑diligence and reporting support for investors.
• Lead finance operations projects, automating recurring workflows and updating policies.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years of experience in accounting, audit or assistant controller roles.
• Strong foundation in US GAAP and CPA certification, preferably with Big 4 audit experience.
• Demonstrated ability to meet recurring deadlines independently in a fast‑paced startup.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization and communication skills in both Hebrew and English.
