Algorithm Team Lead – Deep Learning R&D

About the role

Mobileye is looking for an Algorithm Team Lead to head a small, high‑performing Deep Learning R&D team. You will drive the development of real‑time vision models that enable autonomous driving and advanced driver‑assistance systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a Deep Learning R&D team focused on real‑time computer‑vision models for Mobileye products.
• Provide technical leadership across the full deep‑learning lifecycle: data understanding, model design, training, evaluation, optimization, and production readiness.
• Balance innovative research with product timelines, ensuring high‑quality delivery.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering ownership, creativity, and continuous improvement.
• Translate complex, ambiguous problems into clear work plans, priorities, milestones, and execution steps.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Improve existing models and development pipelines to boost accuracy, robustness, runtime performance, scalability, and product impact.

Required profile

• M.Sc. or outstanding B.Sc. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Leadership or management experience, or strong technical experience with a clear motivation to grow into a management role.
• Professional background in Computer Vision and Deep Learning.
• Hands‑on experience developing deep‑learning algorithms using Python frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Strong understanding of model training, data analysis, and performance improvement.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills, creativity, independence, and ability to handle complex, ill‑defined problems.
