Vice President of Finance

About the role

OurCrowd is seeking a Vice President of Finance to lead the company’s financial strategy, planning and operations. Reporting to the CFO, the VP will oversee a complex finance organization that supports multiple investment vehicles, funds and reporting requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Drive daily finance operations, set weekly priorities, allocate resources and ensure issue escalation across teams.
• Implement a one‑owner‑per‑process model with clear ownership, backups and review cadences.
• Oversee quarterly and annual reporting to investors, GPs, SPVs and management companies.
• Manage the preparation and timely close of financial statements, coordinating with external auditors.
• Lead finance execution for deal closings, capital calls, cash movements and related reporting.
• Support portfolio events such as follow‑ons, valuations, exits, distributions and write‑offs.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements including FATCA/CRS and investor tax reporting.
• Coordinate tax planning cycles, CPA reviews and production of K‑1, CAS and PFIC documents.
• Maintain treasury controls, bank reconciliations, wire transfers and cash balances.

Required profile

• 10+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 4 years in fund accounting, private equity or venture capital.
• CPA qualification from a Big 4 firm and a background in public accounting or audit.
• Proven track record of managing and mentoring finance teams handling multiple workstreams and external service providers.
• Strong ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on execution and to meet competing deadlines.
