Technical Artist (Frontend) – Flutter

About the role

Mylo is an AI‑driven dating startup looking for a Technical Artist to bring life to every interaction in our Flutter mobile app. You will shape the motion language of a product that aims to revolutionise matchmaking.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the animation and rendering layer in Flutter/Dart using AnimationController, Tween/Curve, CustomPainter, Canvas, Transform, implicit animations and tickers.
• Apply classic animation principles—easing, timing, weight, choreography—to create fluid, purposeful motion.
• Profile and optimise animation performance with Flutter DevTools, employing RepaintBoundary strategically to maintain smooth frame rates on low‑end devices.
• Integrate animation work within the existing BLoC/Cubit architecture without redesigning core logic.
• Collaborate closely with designers in Figma to translate visual intent into production‑ready motion.

Required profile

• Proven experience shipping production‑grade animation in Flutter, with a portfolio or reel demonstrating the work.
• Deep hands‑on fluency with Flutter animation APIs and a solid understanding of motion fundamentals.
• Performance‑mindset: ability to profile frames and optimise for low‑end hardware.
• Comfortable moving between design files (Figma) and code, with clean Git practices.
• Startup‑oriented attitude: extreme ownership, speed, and comfort with ambiguity.
