Team Lead, Control

About the role

WEKA is looking for a Team Lead for its Control Group to drive technical excellence, build high‑performing engineering teams and shape the product’s control plane. You will combine leadership, architecture, and hands‑on development to enable the company’s AI‑native data platform.

Key responsibilities

• Grow and manage the career development of engineers, handling recruitment, retention and mentorship.
• Own knowledge domains within the product’s control plane and lead the design and architecture of critical features.
• Partner with product management to prioritize work items, understand business value and ensure timely delivery.
• Promote high‑quality code, efficient designs, collaborative code reviews and continuous improvement of team productivity.
• Take initiative to invent new ideas, improve product quality and drive innovative solutions.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience managing software development teams.
• 5+ years of experience in C/C++ development.
• Strong background in Linux development, including low‑level user‑mode OS knowledge.
• Experience with containers and a proven record of excellence in previous roles.
