Teaching Assistant

About the role

The 1:1 Teaching Assistant role is a full‑time, on‑site position at King Solomon School in Ramat HaSharon. You will work closely with a single student throughout the school day, providing academic, social and behavioural support. The role involves close collaboration with teachers to ensure the student’s academic progress and wellbeing throughout the day.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the student during class activities and reinforce academic concepts.
• Support the student with assignments and encourage independent learning.
• Provide social and behavioural guidance to promote positive interactions.
• Take the student out of class for individualized instruction when needed.
• Maintain regular communication with teachers and school staff to coordinate support.
• Monitor the student’s progress and report observations to teachers.
• Adapt instructional strategies to meet the student’s learning style.

Required profile

• Experience or interest in supporting students in an educational setting.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site and follow the school’s schedule.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers and staff.
• Patience, empathy and a proactive attitude toward student development.
• Flexibility to adjust support strategies as the student’s needs evolve.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
