System Administrator – Linux & Web

About the role

We are a leading technology company delivering advanced cloud and information security solutions. We are seeking an experienced System Administrator to join our collaborative IT team and manage enterprise‑grade Linux and web environments for high‑profile clients and internal users.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, maintain and troubleshoot Linux servers (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL, Debian) and web servers (Nginx, Apache).
• Provide end‑to‑end technical support for strategic enterprise clients and internal stakeholders.
• Provision infrastructure, configure DNS, manage SSL certificates and perform system optimisations.
• Administer MySQL/MariaDB databases, including backup and restore operations.
• Handle networking tasks such as interface configuration, routing, iptables and external firewall management.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience as a System Administrator.
• Strong Linux expertise with hands‑on experience in systemd, log analysis, performance troubleshooting, Bash scripting and Cron jobs.
• Proven ability to work under pressure, solve problems independently and collaborate within a team.
• Relevant professional certifications are a plus.

• Networking: interface configuration, routing, iptables, firewall management.
• Web servers: Nginx, Apache, PHP‑FPM, Virtual Hosts, HTTPS/SSL hardening.
• Databases: MySQL, MariaDB, mysqldump backup/restore.
• Caching: Redis, Memcached, Varnish (optional).
• CDN/WAF: Cloudflare, Imperva (optional).
