Support Engineer - Tier 1

About the role

Cato Networks is looking for a Tier 1 Support Engineer to join its Global Support Services team. You will be the first point of contact for customers worldwide, helping them resolve networking and security issues while gaining hands‑on experience with a cutting‑edge cloud‑native platform.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to Cato Networks customers across the globe.
• Own and manage customer incidents from initial contact through resolution.
• Research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and propose solutions for complex network problems.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, sales and finance teams to advocate for customer needs.
• Monitor customer health, identify concerns and growth opportunities.
• Contribute to the development and expansion of the Global Support Services function.

Required profile

• Strong motivation to start a career in networking and information security.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Willingness to work a minimum of five shifts per week, including weekends.
• Team player comfortable with a globally dispersed, cross‑cultural team.

Required skills

• Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, firewalls, proxy servers).
• CCNA certification or equivalent knowledge.
• Familiarity with VPNs, IPSEC and security protocols.
• Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
• Understanding of cloud and SaaS technologies (advantage).
