Supplier NPI Electronics Engineering Manager

About the role

Applied Materials seeks an experienced Supplier NPI Electronics Engineering Manager to lead the transition of new product introductions (NPI) to high‑volume manufacturing at supplier sites. You will work closely with R&D, supply chain, and operations to ensure robust, scalable production of electronics and computing modules.

Key responsibilities

• Drive NPI engineering transition to manufacturing at PDC suppliers, covering design for manufacturing, testability, PFMEA, and first‑article inspection.
• Qualify, maintain, and improve suppliers' high‑volume manufacturing capabilities and infrastructure.
• Support sustained production, resolve quality issues, and lead technical projects to increase supplier capacity.
• Set strategic direction for the supplier engineering organization and ensure tactical execution of commitments.

Required profile

• Electrical Engineering degree.
• 5+ years as a technical manager with team‑lead experience.
• Proven experience working with suppliers through development and engineering transitions.
• Strong understanding of multidisciplinary R&D and engineering processes.
