Staff AI Research Scientist

About the role

Arm is looking for a Staff AI Research Scientist to join its distributed research team. You will work at the intersection of artificial intelligence, computer architecture and compute, driving foundational advances that span edge to cloud platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct cutting‑edge research in generative modeling, efficient inference and physical AI.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional researchers to push state‑of‑the‑art performance.
• Publish results in top conferences such as ICML, ICLR, NeurIPS, CVPR, ICCV/ECCV, ICRA, IROS.
• Translate research outcomes into real‑world impact and prototype implementations.

Required profile

• Ph.D. (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related STEM field with a focus on AI.
• Proven record of academic publications in reputable conferences or journals.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a distributed environment.

Required skills

• Generative modeling techniques for inverse problems.
• Quantization, pruning, low‑rank and hardware‑aware optimization for efficient inference.
• Edge device development and deployment.
