About the role

Cato Networks is seeking a passionate Software Team Lead to join its R&D Core team. You will lead the design and development of highly scalable, high‑performance networking and security solutions that power the company’s cloud‑native platform.

Key responsibilities

Lead a team of experienced engineers, fostering ownership, excellence and mutual support.
Design, implement and test enterprise network‑security solutions and complex networking topologies.
Conduct research, prototype new features and evaluate emerging technologies for product integration.

Required profile

10+ years of hands‑on software development on large‑scale network or security solutions.
2+ years of experience leading software teams.
Deep knowledge of networking, network protocols and Linux/Unix environments.
Strong proficiency in C programming within multithreaded and SMP contexts.

Required skills

Networking and real‑time development.
Linux/Unix system customization.
Performance profiling and traffic analysis.
Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) – a plus.
