Software Engineering Team Lead

About the role

Claroty is seeking a Software Engineering Team Lead for its XSA (xDome Secure Access) product. You will guide a high‑performing development team that builds secure remote‑access solutions for critical industrial environments, bridging IT and OT networks with a security‑first mindset.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering technical ownership and continuous delivery.
• Design and implement robust secure‑access features that integrate IT and OT networks.
• Architect scalable, high‑performance gateway and proxy systems for global enterprise use.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Security Researchers to apply Zero Trust principles and advanced session monitoring.
• Promote best practices in code quality, security protocols, and system resilience.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience leading R&D or software development teams.
• At least 5 years of backend development experience, preferably with complex Python systems.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols and security concepts.
• Experience building distributed, high‑availability systems handling real‑time traffic.
• Ability to use AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude) to accelerate workflows.
