Software Engineer – Remote Browser Isolation

About the role

Cato Networks is building a new SaaS product for Remote Browser Isolation. You will help define the architecture, develop the platform from scratch, and deliver a high‑scale, cloud‑native solution that protects enterprises from AI‑driven threats.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the specifications, architecture, and core components of the RBI SaaS product.
• Own end‑to‑end development, from processing large‑scale data to building backend services that power web interfaces.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Research, SOC, NOC, and Automation teams to align technical solutions with business needs.
• Research and integrate new technologies into the product stack.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and continuous improvement of engineering practices.

Required profile

• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, organized, execution‑oriented, and able to work independently.

Required skills

• Java, Go, Play Framework, Spring Boot, GraphQL.
• Experience with Chromium and video‑streaming technologies.
• Familiarity with AWS services.
• Building and operating high‑scale SaaS microservices in production.
• Continuous integration and automated testing practices.
