Silicon Operations Production Controller

About the role

DustPhotonics, now part of Credo, is seeking a Production Controller to join its Operations team. The role will manage day‑to‑day execution of the semiconductor supply chain, linking the approved production plan with on‑site execution and ensuring data integrity in the ERP system.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor Work‑In‑Progress (WIP) across all manufacturing locations, providing real‑time visibility of wafer and lot status.
• Track material movements between silicon FABs, wafer‑level testing facilities, and dicing vendors to prevent delays.
• Support demand and shipping commitments by analysing sales forecasts, current WIP, and vendor execution progress.
• Maintain accurate production data in the ERP system, including WIP and inventory records.
• Coordinate master production schedules for wafer fabrication, testing logistics, and dicing hand‑offs.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of production control or material planning experience in semiconductor, foundry, or optoelectronics manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research or a related technical field.
• Ability to work fully on‑site and collaborate closely with engineering and operations teams.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with NetSuite and/or Priority ERP systems.
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, including FAB, wafer‑level testing and dicing.
• Proficiency in material tracking and WIP management across multi‑site supply chains.
