Service Systems Engineer

About the role

The Service Systems Engineer (SSE) will ensure the CT Detector Module System (DMS) is designed for efficient installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair throughout its lifecycle. You will work closely with engineering, service, manufacturing, quality and field teams to drive serviceability and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop service concepts and translate customer and field insights into requirements and design enhancements.
• Assess serviceability for installation, calibration, troubleshooting, repair, preventive maintenance and part replacement.
• Participate in architecture and trade‑off studies to incorporate service needs into design decisions.
• Review DMS designs for compliance with service requirements across hardware, software, electrical, mechanical and thermal aspects.
• Support field engineers in investigating and resolving DMS‑related issues and conduct failure analysis and DFMEA.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of systems and service engineering experience, preferably with medical imaging equipment.
• Proven ability to analyze technical problems and turn findings into actionable improvements.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
