Service Material Planner

About the role

Nova is looking for a Service Material Planner to support its Operations organization. The role ensures reliable material availability for production and service delivery, translating demand and production plans into actionable material schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule material supply to meet service production requirements while maintaining minimum stock levels.
• Monitor on‑time‑delivery (OTD) performance, resolve shortages and mitigate material‑related production risks.
• Operate MRP processes, converting demand and production plans into execution‑level production and repair plans.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Production, Warehouse, Service and Engineering teams to align priorities and close dependencies.
• Lead weekly planning and delivery reviews, track actions and provide visibility on planning status.
• Drive continuous improvement of planning processes, reporting accuracy, data quality and inventory management methodologies.
• Coordinate with global territories to ensure safety stocks are available in designated warehouses.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of experience in material and logistics planning within a multidisciplinary environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field.
• Proven experience in material, spare‑parts and RMA planning.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams (Production, Purchasing, Warehouses).

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• ERP systems experience, preferably Oracle Cloud ERP.
• MRP operation and execution.
• Inventory management and optimization methodologies.
• Familiarity with supply‑chain KPIs such as OTD, shortages and inventory turns.
