Service & After‑Sales Engineer (Field‑Based)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled, responsible and customer‑oriented Service & After‑Sales Engineer to be the primary point of contact for service requests on Ravona’s installed equipment base. The role combines hands‑on technical work, field service, and coordination with engineering and production teams, while also supporting installation, assembly, testing and commissioning of new equipment when service activities are low.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and manage customer service requests from initial contact through diagnosis, repair, documentation and closure.
• Perform remote and on‑site troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, instrumentation, sensor, software and control‑system faults.
• Repair equipment, replace defective components, sensors, actuators, valves, filters, cables and electronic parts.
• Develop and execute preventive‑maintenance and calibration schedules, conduct inspections and functional testing.
• Coordinate calibration activities for sensors, transmitters and testing devices and issue certificates and reports.
• Identify and supply correct spare parts, propose upgrades and manage after‑sales sales.
• Collaborate with R&D, mechanical, electrical and automation teams, as well as external suppliers, to resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate service records and follow up with customers to confirm equipment performance.
