SEO & GEO Manager

About the role

Bakara, a leading consulting firm in media planning and marketing analysis, is expanding into a new domain focused on organic search and AI‑driven visibility. As the SEO & GEO Manager you will become the trusted authority for Israel’s biggest brands, guiding them from traditional search to next‑generation answer engines.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive SEO and GEO strategies, including migration to generative AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity.
• Perform deep technical audits and content reviews, delivering actionable recommendations to improve site health, ranking signals, and AI readiness.
• Oversee external agency SEO plans, ensuring alignment with global benchmarks and client business goals.
• Monitor performance using GA4, Google Search Console, and leading SEO tools; analyze organic traffic alongside new AI visibility metrics.
• Educate C‑level stakeholders on the shift from classic search to answer engines and define roadmap implementations.
• Identify and pursue business development opportunities, proposing audits, strategic projects, and retainer models to grow Bakara’s service offering.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in technical, on‑page and off‑page SEO, preferably managing large‑scale accounts.
• Strong business acumen with a proven track record of expanding services or identifying new revenue streams.
• Deep understanding of Large Language Models, generative search engines, and AI‑focused optimization tactics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Hebrew.
