Senior Software Engineer - Edge Services

About the role

Viz.ai is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to strengthen its Edge Services team in Tel Aviv. You will help build and scale a high‑throughput, micro‑services platform that powers AI‑driven care pathways across thousands of hospitals.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex, time‑critical micro‑services that process large volumes of clinical data.
• Integrate with diverse healthcare providers using various data formats (EHR, HL7, etc.).
• Collaborate with algorithm, data, and product teams to deliver high‑quality, performant code.
• Own the domain’s code quality, performance, and scalability.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies that improve reliability and efficiency.

Required profile

• Team player with a strong "can‑do" mentality.
• Minimum 5 years of backend development experience.
• Experience with micro‑services architecture and distributed systems.
• Background in cloud environments (AWS) is a plus.
• Experience in healthcare tech (EHR, HL7) is a strong advantage.
• B.Sc. or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
