Senior Software Engineer - C++ Linux & Cloud Workload

About the role

SentinelOne is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and develop innovative security solutions for Linux and cloud workloads. You will lead the creation of new detection capabilities, working from research through to large‑scale deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Research Linux/Containers security landscape and design detection strategies and algorithms.
• Develop end‑to‑end security solutions, from low‑level kernel hooks to complex detection engines.
• Enhance security of Linux and cloud workload platforms protected by SentinelOne products.
• Conduct low‑level research, prototype solutions, and perform peer code reviews.
• Support global customers by addressing issues and requests within the team’s domain.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software engineering experience building complex systems.
• Strong background in modern C++ development.
• Deep understanding of Linux OS architecture, security, and internals.
• Hands‑on experience with low‑level Linux development and debugging.
• Experience delivering production‑grade products at large scale.
