Senior NPI Engineer – Automated Warehousing & Robotics

About the role

The Senior NPI Engineer will lead the transition of complex automated warehousing and robotic parking systems from research and development to mass production and client deployment, acting as the technical bridge between design, manufacturing, and global customers.

Key responsibilities

• Drive New Product Introduction (NPI) for advanced automated machinery, moving projects from R&D to large‑scale manufacturing.
• Serve as the primary technical liaison among engineering design teams, local factories, and international enterprise clients.
• Customize and adapt warehouse and parking solutions to meet unique architectural constraints of new global buyers.
• Own end‑to‑end product implementation, oversee quality‑control validation, and troubleshoot electro‑mechanical systems during assembly and on‑site rollout.
• Provide tier‑3 technical support and engineering consultation for active projects worldwide.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related quantitative engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on NPI engineering experience in hardware, robotics, or complex machinery manufacturing.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally to client sites in the US and Europe.
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills with strong leadership presence.

Required skills

• Expert proficiency with 3D CAD tools, specifically SolidWorks or equivalent.
• Deep knowledge of quality‑control techniques, statistical process control, and industrial hardware validation standards.
• Experience managing Engineering Change Orders (ECO) and global vendor relationships.
• Familiarity with automated warehousing systems, heavy industrial robotics, and manufacturing assembly lines.
• Ability to produce and manage technical documentation and bridge R&D concepts with factory manufacturing.
