Senior Mobile Infrastructure Developer

About the role

Connecteam is looking for a visionary and hands‑on Senior Mobile Infrastructure Developer to shape the core mobile platform that powers its desk‑less workforce solutions. You will work across native iOS/Android and React Native codebases, focusing on performance, scalability, and a smooth developer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable mobile infrastructure for React Native, iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) applications.
• Lead best‑practice implementations in areas such as Mobx state management, geolocation, geofencing, WebView integration, encryption, media compression, and CodePush.
• Implement and optimise CI/CD pipelines for iOS, Android and React Native, automating builds, tests and deployments.
• Continuously improve app startup time, runtime performance and overall reliability.
• Define and evolve mobile architecture, ensuring security, scalability and alignment with product goals.
• Own the mobile release lifecycle, manage versioning, documentation and rollout strategies.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, design and DevOps teams to align solutions with business needs.
• Introduce monitoring and observability tools, troubleshoot pipeline and production issues, and enforce industry standards.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience building and scaling mobile platforms in both native and cross‑platform environments.
• Strong architectural mindset with a focus on performance, security and developer productivity.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to mentor and influence engineering teams.
• Hands‑on attitude, capable of writing production‑grade code and driving technical decisions.
