Senior Mechanical Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Next Generation Product Design team focused on automated manufacturing for medical devices. This high‑impact position sits at the crossroads of mechanical design, system engineering, and rapid prototyping.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to the design and development of automation solutions for product manufacturing.
• Manage projects from concept through feasibility, prototyping, design, testing, and hand‑off to production.
• Integrate mechanical designs with system‑level constraints, including mechanics, robotics, and electronics.
• Perform engineering analyses, simulations, and experimental prototyping.
• Collaborate closely with hardware, software, vision, algorithms, and manufacturing teams.
• Investigate and assess new technologies for future manufacturing lines.

Required profile

• B.Sc. to Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of hands‑on experience developing complex mechanical systems.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, dynamics, materials science, and electromechanical systems.
• Experience with micro‑mechanisms is a plus.
• Fluent in English and Hebrew.
• Excellent problem‑solving and system‑level thinking abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD tools, especially SolidWorks.
• Engineering simulation expertise (advantage).
• Mechanical design, dynamics, and materials science knowledge.
• Understanding of electromechanical systems and micro‑mechanisms.
