Senior IT & Security Manager (Hands‑on)

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Senior IT & Security Manager to own and operate the company’s entire IT landscape. The role combines day‑to‑day employee support with strategic infrastructure upgrades, Microsoft ecosystem stewardship, AWS networking collaboration, and continuous SOC 2 / ISO 27001 compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage company‑wide IT operations, SaaS platform access, and security processes.
• Provide on‑site and remote support for employees (primarily in Israel) – onboarding, off‑boarding, equipment, accounts, permissions, licenses, and access removal.
• Administer and optimise Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Exchange Online, Intune, Defender, MFA, Conditional Access and related security policies.
• Manage macOS and Windows endpoints via Intune and Kandji.
• Maintain corporate networking – VPN, Wi‑Fi, remote access and overall connectivity.
• Collaborate with DevOps on AWS networking (VPCs, subnets, route tables, security groups, VPN connectivity).
• Drive SOC 2 and ISO 27001 readiness – evidence collection, policy upkeep, audits, vendor reviews and risk tracking.
• Oversee IT vendors, procurement, license renewals, hardware/software inventory and cost optimisation.
• Document IT systems, processes, troubleshooting guides and security controls.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in IT operations or infrastructure, preferably as the sole IT owner.
• Proven track record maintaining SOC 2 or ISO 27001 compliance.
• Strong written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Microsoft Defender, Exchange Online, Conditional Access, MFA.
• macOS and Windows endpoint management (Intune, Kandji).
• VPN, routing, DNS, DHCP and general networking concepts.
• AWS networking – VPC, subnets, route tables, security groups, VPN connectivity.
• SSO integration (Auth0 or similar).
• SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance processes.
