Senior Infra Backend Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Infra Backend Engineer to join our R&D office in Tel Aviv. You will work in a hybrid, flexible model with a top‑tier R&D team, building large‑scale backend infrastructure that processes billions of events daily.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build scalable pipelines that ingest and process billions of events each day.
• Research, prototype, and select new technologies to meet system requirements.
• Migrate massive user‑level data into Iceberg while maintaining cost efficiency.
• Lead the design and development of a low‑memory‑footprint streaming ETL product.
• Optimize infrastructure components such as Kafka, DynamoDB, Postgres, EMR, Kubernetes, Druid, Snowflake, and others within AWS.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on backend development experience.
• Proven track record building high‑performance, scalable systems.
• Experience working in large‑scale AWS environments (a plus).
