Senior HR Business Partner

About the role

Torq is scaling rapidly in the cybersecurity space and needs a seasoned HR Business Partner to help build the people infrastructure for its next growth phase. You will own the full employee lifecycle for your assigned teams, act as a trusted advisor to managers, and translate organizational challenges into practical HR solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong, trusted relationships with managers and employees across the organization.
• Manage the end‑to‑end employee lifecycle, from onboarding through off‑boarding.
• Coach managers to become more confident and effective leaders, strengthening decision‑making and leadership capabilities.
• Identify recurring organizational challenges and design simple, scalable people solutions.
• Lead initiatives in onboarding, performance management, retention, employee development, talent mapping, and succession planning.
• Support organizational design and workforce planning projects.
• Navigate sensitive employee relations and performance issues with empathy and sound judgment.
• Leverage HiBob data and organizational insights to guide decisions and measure impact.
• Collaborate with the global HR team on company‑wide processes such as performance reviews and compensation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner, preferably in a fast‑growing technology company.
• Proven track record of building or redesigning HR processes to support rapid growth.
• Strong experience coaching managers, building trusted relationships, and providing constructive push‑back.
• Experience leading performance management, onboarding, retention, talent management, or employee development processes.
• Solid business acumen and ability to connect people initiatives with broader organizational goals.
