Senior Frontend Engineer

About the role

Itron is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to help build responsive, user‑centric web applications for its Resiliency Solutions business. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver a seamless experience for utilities and city customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain dynamic web applications using Angular and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Implement and extend proprietary APIs that serve multiple client platforms.
• Research, prototype, and integrate cutting‑edge frontend technologies.
• Ensure cross‑browser compatibility, performance, and accessibility across devices.
• Contribute to the full development lifecycle from design through deployment and monitoring.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience with JavaScript, HTML, and advanced CSS.
• 2+ years building large‑scale applications with Angular.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative team mindset.
