Senior Frontend Engineer (Cortex Platform)

About the role

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join the Cortex Platform team. You will help build AI‑driven, high‑performance user interfaces that protect customers from evolving cyber threats. The role works closely with product, UX, and backend teams to deliver intuitive experiences for complex security models.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, high‑performance UI components using React or Angular with TypeScript.
• Contribute to frontend architecture decisions and evolve core features.
• Champion AI‑first development practices, including automated testing, intelligent code reviews, and AI‑assisted code generation.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery of critical frontend features, challenging assumptions and ensuring industry‑leading quality.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to translate complex security requirements into seamless user experiences.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional frontend development experience.
• Deep expertise with modern frontend frameworks, specifically React or Angular.
• Strong track record of building and maintaining large‑scale web applications.
• Experience working in fast‑moving, AI‑focused product teams.
