Senior Flutter Developer (Animation Focus)

About the role

Mylo is an AI‑driven dating app looking to make every match feel alive through perfect motion. As a Senior Flutter Developer with an animation focus, you will own the end‑to‑end experience of our iOS and Android app, turning screens into engaging, buttery‑smooth interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain the Flutter codebase for iOS and Android using BLoC/Cubit for predictable state management.
• Design and implement custom animations, micro‑interactions, page transitions, and physics‑driven gestures using AnimationController, Tween/Curve, CustomPainter, and Canvas.
• Ensure consistent 60/120 fps performance by profiling with Flutter DevTools and Impeller, applying RepaintBoundary and rebuild discipline.
• Integrate Firebase services (Remote Config, App Check, Cloud Messaging, Crashlytics, Analytics, Performance) and Dio‑based networking with secure token handling.
• Manage app releases on the App Store and Google Play, including flavor creation, signing, CI/CD pipelines, and post‑release monitoring.

Required profile

• 5+ years of mobile development experience, with at least 3 years shipping production‑grade Flutter/Dart applications.
• Deep expertise in BLoC/Cubit, dependency injection (GetIt, Injectable), and advanced animation techniques.
• Performance‑obsessed mindset, comfortable using DevTools, Impeller, and optimization patterns.
• Hands‑on experience with Firebase, OAuth/Cognito‑style authentication, and local persistence solutions.
• Proven track record of releasing and maintaining live apps on both stores, supported by unit/widget testing and clean Git practices.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced startup environment, taking ownership and navigating ambiguity.
