Senior Edge‑AI SoC Design Verification Engineer

About the role

Join Google Cloud’s AI and Infrastructure team as a Senior Edge‑AI SoC Design Verification Engineer. You will help create and validate custom silicon that powers Google’s direct‑to‑consumer products, ensuring high performance, efficiency, and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Plan verification strategies for digital design blocks by understanding specifications and collaborating with design engineers.
• Create and enhance constrained‑random verification environments and test benches using SystemVerilog or Specman/E.
• Develop verification components, run system‑level tests, and drive verification closure.
• Manage the full verification lifecycle, from planning and execution to coverage collection and bug fixing.
• Collaborate closely with design and verification teams across multiple SoC cycles.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 8 years of experience building verification components and environments in a standard verification methodology.
• Proven experience verifying RTL‑level digital logic for FPGAs or ASICs.
• Strong understanding of ASIC standard interfaces, memory system architecture, and performance verification.
