Senior Data Product Manager – Retail Intelligence

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Data Product Manager to lead the strategy, architecture, and delivery of the data that powers Similarweb’s Retail Intelligence suite. This role sits at the intersection of data infrastructure and customer value, shaping the datasets, pipelines, and AI‑driven capabilities that enable retailers and brands to make confident commerce decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Own the vision, roadmap, and delivery of core datasets—including eCommerce traffic, conversion, product‑level insights, and category benchmarks.
• Lead AI integration into internal processes and core product features to accelerate customer decision‑making.
• Define, monitor, and improve data quality metrics such as completeness, coverage, freshness, and accuracy.
• Establish validation, logging, and governance frameworks for data assets.
• Modularize data structures to ensure scalability and continuous improvement.
• Conduct ongoing market and customer research to keep the product aligned with user needs.
• Partner with engineering, data science, design, sales, and marketing teams to drive adoption and delivery.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in data product management or technical product management within a big‑data environment.
• Proven track record leading cross‑functional initiatives involving data engineering, data science, and analytics.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in ambiguity and move quickly from insight to execution.
• Strong communication skills and ability to align stakeholders across product, engineering, and business teams.
