Senior Automation Engineer

About the role

Cato Networks is building a converged network and security cloud for the AI era. We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain automated tests and infrastructure for our security platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for complex, multi‑layered systems using a Java‑based framework.
• Drive initiatives to improve automation infrastructure, tools, and CI/CD integration.
• Evaluate and integrate AI‑driven solutions to enhance test generation, failure analysis, and coverage.
• Provide reusable components, templates, dashboards, and best practices to QA and development teams.
• Translate automation data into actionable insights and collaborate across product and engineering groups.

Required profile

• 7+ years of test automation experience for complex systems.
• Strong OOP/OOD coding skills in Java and C#.
• Experience with load/performance testing tools such as JMeter, K6, or Gatling.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Deep understanding of network protocols (L3‑L7) and identity providers (LDAP, AD, Okta, Azure AD).
