Senior Analyst, Security Compliance

About the role

We are looking for a senior professional to lead and evolve our security compliance program within Kraken’s Security team. The role focuses on designing, implementing and maintaining enterprise‑scale IT control frameworks in a fast‑moving Web3 environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage SOC 1 and SOC 2 examinations under AICPA standards, coordinating with external auditors and internal stakeholders.
• Support end‑to‑end SOX planning and execution, including system scoping, audit readiness and training for control owners.
• Act as a trusted advisor to Security, IT, Infrastructure, Engineering, Data and Finance teams, translating audit requirements into practical, scalable controls.
• Conduct security and IT control gap assessments, evaluate design and operating effectiveness, and drive remediation to completion.
• Facilitate continuous maturation of the organization’s control framework and compliance posture.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in IT controls, external audit, and compliance frameworks (SOC 1, SOC 2, SOX).
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with finance, technology and security teams.
• Comfortable operating in a fully remote setting while supporting U.S. business hours.
• Senior‑level professional with strong analytical and communication skills.
