Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant will support the Finance function by delivering accurate reporting, ensuring GAAP compliance, and collaborating with Accounts Payable and other departments. This role combines technical accounting tasks with continuous‑improvement initiatives in a fast‑paced defense manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and payments using Oracle Fusion ERP.
• Maintain the vendor master database, add new vendors and verify bank payment instructions.
• Work with Receiving and PO teams to resolve inventory receipt and purchase‑order discrepancies.
• Assist the Israel Controller in monthly results preparation, account analysis and financial close.
• Enter and update fixed‑asset (PP&E) records and depreciation schedules in Oracle.
• Prepare tax filings such as monthly VAT and respond to audit inquiries.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement projects and uphold 5S and ISO safety standards.

Required profile

• Certified Bookkeeper or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
• At least 5 years of practical accounting experience in a product‑driven, manufacturing or public‑accounting environment.

Required skills

• Oracle Fusion ERP (vendor, PO, fixed‑asset modules).
• Microsoft Excel (advanced), Outlook, Teams, Word, and PowerPoint.
