Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our accounting team in Israel. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate month‑end close, financial reporting, and supporting strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the month‑end accounting close process for Israeli entities.
• Prepare and analyse balance‑sheet and profit & loss statements.
• Complete monthly reconciliations of balance‑sheet and P&L accounts.
• Manage the Fixed Assets sub‑ledger.
• Prepare and review monthly accounts payable accruals.
• Generate and review general‑ledger journal entries.
• Develop and maintain local accounting policies and procedures.
• Implement internal controls over accounting and AP processes.
• Handle statutory monthly reporting such as tax advances and VAT.
• Coordinate statutory audits and tax return filings.
• Support M&A activities and lead ad‑hoc projects as required.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant or CPA with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant post‑internship experience, preferably in a global company.
• Advanced knowledge of SAP ECC/S4 (strong advantage).
• Proficient with MS Office and G‑Suite applications.
• Experience with Blackline and Ariba is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a team‑player attitude.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑moving, demanding environment.
