Production Quality Engineer – Manufacturing Site

About the role

DRS RADA Technologies is looking for a Production Quality Engineer to lead failure investigations and quality processes at its radar manufacturing site in Beit Shean. The role combines hands‑on quality assurance with cross‑functional collaboration across R&D, engineering, procurement and manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Lead investigations of failure events and non‑conformities, perform root‑cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct internal audits, monitor gaps against aerospace standards (AS9100) and report findings.
• Analyse quality data, present trends and statistics, and develop improvement plans.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) activities and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain overall quality processes for military products, including FMEA and MRB handling.
• Interpret engineering specifications and technical drawings, and prepare clear documentation.

Required profile

• Degree in Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Management or Practical Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in quality engineering or as a quality team lead.
• Background in electronic and mechanical assembly environments.
• Familiarity with aerospace standard AS9100 (advantage) and IPC standards (advantage).
• High proficiency in English; ability to prepare training material in Hebrew and English.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently.
