Production Planning & Control Team Leader

About the role

abra professional services is looking for a Production Planning & Control Team Leader to head the PPC department. The role involves overseeing the planning team, managing configuration control, and coordinating cross‑functional projects to ensure efficient production and on‑time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Production Planning & Control (PPC) team, ensuring efficient daily operations.
• Manage configuration control processes, including item creation and development of complex Bills of Materials (BOMs) using SAP and Excel.
• Define production priorities in collaboration with Customer Service and support customer escalation and delivery requirements.
• Oversee costing, planning, and execution of new projects, creating BOMs and coordinating with Procurement for supplier quotations.
• Execute MRP processes and manage customer forecasts to align production plans with business demand.
• Handle Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and implement changes across internal systems and customer platforms such as SPS and SNF.
• Analyze exception reports, generate cross‑functional management reports, and drive continuous process improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering & Management or a related technological field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Production Planning & Control.
• At least 1 year of hands‑on experience with Priority ERP.
• Previous managerial or team‑leadership experience.
• Experience leading a professional domain or function.
• Fluent English with excellent written, verbal and reading skills.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Full‑time availability (100% position).
