Production Engineer – Composite Materials

About the role

ELTA Systems in Be'er Sheva is seeking a Production Engineer to join the Composite Materials Department. The role focuses on supporting and optimizing manufacturing processes from development through production while delivering engineering solutions on the shop floor.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare cost and price proposals.
• Plan and specify manufacturing equipment and production fixtures.
• Support the transfer of products and processes from development to production.
• Prepare work instructions and manufacturing process documentation.
• Plan and support manufacturing processes on the production floor, providing engineering solutions to challenges.
• Improve and optimize manufacturing processes.
• Prepare Statements of Work (SOWs) for equipment and tooling requirements.
• Lead internal and customer‑facing Production Readiness Reviews (PRRs).
• Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Quality Control, Project Management, and Procurement teams.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong command of English.
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software; experience with NX‑UG is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with SAP (advantage).
