Product Marketing Manager

About the role

Oak is building an AI‑native Identity Operating System and needs a Product Marketing Manager to shape how the platform is presented to the market. You will own the category narrative, messaging, launches, and enablement assets, working directly with senior leadership at a seed‑stage startup.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own positioning and messaging for the Oak platform, including category narrative, pillar‑level messaging, ICP‑specific value propositions, and competitive differentiation.
• Lead end‑to‑end product and feature launches: narrative, naming, enablement, web, press, and launch events.
• Translate technical capabilities such as the identity graph, connector coverage, access reviews, JIT, and lifecycle automation into compelling stories for CISOs, IAM leaders, and architects.
• Create sales enablement assets from scratch: pitch decks, demo narratives, battle cards, one‑pagers, discovery guides, and customer proof points.
• Act as the voice of the customer by conducting win/loss analyses, interviews, and message testing, feeding insights back into positioning and roadmap decisions.
• Monitor the competitive landscape and craft a defensible story for the field.

Required profile

• Hands‑on marketer with experience in enterprise security or identity‑related products.
• Strong ability to work cross‑functionally with product, sales, demand generation, and executive teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of crafting clear, persuasive narratives.
