Procurement & Tech Lawyer (Commercial Agreements)

About the role

We are looking for a Procurement & Tech Lawyer to join Cal’s legal team. You will provide comprehensive legal support for a wide range of commercial and IT procurement agreements, helping the company navigate the complex regulatory landscape of the payments industry.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including software licensing, implementation, maintenance, and outsourcing contracts.
• Provide ongoing legal counsel on acquiring, discounting, and business‑credit activities.
• Prepare legal opinions and advise on various business initiatives across the organization.
• Support the implementation of regulatory requirements and ensure compliance.

Required profile

• Licensed to practice law in Israel.
• Minimum 3 years of post‑internship professional experience.
• Proven ability to handle commercial agreements independently, especially procurement and IT‑related contracts.
• Experience in the banking or financial‑services sector is a plus.
• Background in privacy and data‑protection law is advantageous.
• Previous work as an attorney in a leading law firm’s commercial department or as in‑house counsel for a commercial/financial institution is highly valued.
• Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
