Procurement Manager

About the role

Port.io is seeking a hands‑on Procurement Manager to build and own its purchasing infrastructure from the ground up. You will transition the current informal buying process into a structured, scalable system that supports rapid hyper‑growth and enterprise‑level procurement needs.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage the end‑to‑end procurement lifecycle, driving continuous improvement and automation.
• Conduct market research to provide category intelligence, benchmarks and trend analysis.
• Structure, review and negotiate complex supplier agreements and renewals while minimizing contractual risk.
• Partner with business units to understand needs, act as a subject‑matter expert and streamline purchasing initiatives.
• Negotiate optimal commercial terms with suppliers and lead cost‑reduction and cost‑avoidance programs.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, oversee contract renewals and enforce governance across the organization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Management or a related field.
• 5+ years of procurement management experience in a SaaS environment.
• Strong technical understanding of AI tools and automation for procurement workflows.
• Proven experience managing long‑term supplier relationships and executing complex legal agreements.
• Demonstrated ability to lead budgeting, cost‑reduction and cost‑avoidance initiatives.
