Procurement Buyer – R&D (MedTech)

About the role

We are looking for a Procurement Buyer to lead end‑to‑end purchasing activities for the Research & Development (R&D) function of a MedTech company based in Yokneam. The role will support prototype development, pilot projects and new‑product introductions by securing materials, components, engineering services and laboratory equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify suppliers for R&D‑specific materials and services.
• Negotiate contracts, review price quotes and manage non‑disclosure, service and supply agreements.
• Execute the full procurement cycle: issue RFQs, conduct total cost of ownership analysis, create purchase orders, expedite deliveries and track shipments.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, laboratory, operations, finance, quality, regulatory and legal teams to meet development timelines and technical specifications.
• Ensure compliance with SOX and SOD controls throughout the purchasing process.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of procurement experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Direct experience supporting R&D procurement activities.
• Familiarity with laboratory and engineering procurement, including custom tools, PCBs/PCBA and technical components.
• Ability to read and interpret NDAs, service agreements, work agreements and supply contracts.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably SAP or Priority.
