About the role
The Ashery-Padan Lab at Tel Aviv University is seeking outstanding PhD, Direct PhD, and MD‑PhD candidates to investigate fundamental epigenetic mechanisms that control embryonic development, eye formation, and tissue regeneration. This research position offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting‑edge studies in developmental timing and regeneration.
Key responsibilities
- Design and execute experiments to explore epigenetic regulation in eye development.
- Collect, process, and analyze molecular and cellular data.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to integrate findings.
- Prepare manuscripts and present results at scientific meetings.
Required profile
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Life Sciences, Bioinformatics, Neuroscience, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- Strong curiosity about molecular mechanisms and cell‑fate plasticity.
- Motivation to pursue independent research in a laboratory setting.
